The Utah Jazz are in the midst of an intense first-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but assistant coach Igor Kokoskov has been doing some multitasking. Kokoskov has reportedly interviewed for the vacant Phoenix Suns head-coaching job.

The thought was that when opponents turn up their scouting and defensive pressure, Rubio would become a liability. They'd just leave Rubio open, helping on everything else, and would short-circuit a team's offense.
That couldn't be any further from the truth.
In game one that was certainly the case and will be again. The scouting report is to stop Gobert, Mitchell and Ingles. You're in trouble if you keep counting on Rubio
The first key of this: putting Donovan Mitchell on Westbrook. Mitchell is the only Jazz player who can approach Westbrook's athleticism
Besides your boy Burks
The Thunder only took 19 shots in the restricted area all night; during the regular season, they averaged 30. Gobert seems to be in their heads, to be honest.
As he should be. One man wrecking crew. But hey let's not give him any credit again!

Dennis Lindsey said the newly appropriated Rubio may well approximate a Utah version of Hall of Famer Jason Kidd. For the first half of the season that looked laughable. In the second half, it suddenly started to look plausible. The Thunder have faced that Kidd facsimile thus far in the playoffs and have had no answer.
The 5-18 was very Kidd like

[QUOTE] We all snickered when Dennis Lindsey compared Ricky Rubio to Jason Kidd in July. It was the day after Gordon Hayward had burnt the Utah Jazz in his wake of indecision, and it appeared like Dennis Lindsey was trying to give the fanbase any reason not to toss themselves off a cliff. When he compared Ricky Rubio to Jason Kidd, most of us said,
