    Pretty funny

Is there hate toward Love in Minny? I assume this is just a little friendly "ribbing".

First off, it's a parody of the overplayed song about players returning home and former teams giving them lengthy, unnecessary video tributes, in this video, the initial presentation gives the indication that's what the Wolves are doing, then the implied irony of not mentioning Kevin Love, and instead, mentioning Mike ****ing Miller, that played there like a million years ago. It's funny that it's Mike Miller, but why? What is the criteria for a team celebrating a former player? One can't objectively know this, so that presents even more comedic value to an already ridiculous, over-hyped concept, driven by the media and the reporters. It's a nice slap in the face to Kevin Love for his time in Minny, but if we look at it closer, his return doesn't actually merit a video tribute or significant reaction. With Lebron James, Shaq, Big Z, Rondo, KG, Pierce, all these guys that had standing ovations and video tributes, did 1 of 2 things: either they brought a championship to their former team that needs to be celebrated, or spent a significant amount of time on the team, demonstrating loyalty to the fan base and organization.

Kevin Love did neither of those things, he put up big numbers for a limited amount of seasons that didn't translate into postseason success, hell it didn't even translate into the postseason. And, if we agree that the goal in basketball is to win games and titles, why should Kevin Love be celebrated? At least Melo got to the WCF and lost to a really tough Kobe lead team, same with KG.

The Timberwolves will play a highlight video of Kevin's time there during a timeout in the 1st quarter.
