    Last video, the defender is way too focused on the ball. You also have to keep your periperhial on the hips because the offensive player always goes where the hips go. Just ball watching when the offense player still has the dribble can leave the defender more prone for the hard jab step and fake. You should focus on the ball strictly when the offensive player has already picked up the dribble (2nd video). That's one reason why so many guys get crossed over so badly because they focus on the ball too much. I've always focused a lot on the hips. That makes it easier to keep guys in front of you while sacrificing some ball deflection abilities.

    Always assume that a player is not ambidextrous and force them away from their strong hand. Works every time.
