Technically, he's an FA. But he might as well be retired since he hasn't played for 3 years.

Sheed was not an underachiever. He was exactly who he was. A guy who was pretty good at a lot of things and an awesome teammate but wasn't good enough to be the best guy on your team. He was really smart and played good basketball he just wasn't goood enough to be a number one guy. He was a huge part of a championship team. No underachieving there.
Davis? Talented offensively and yes he was kinda lazy. Coming in to camp fat and just kinda lazy in general. In his best years he was really good but he got injured constantly. Could he have prevented those injuries had he been in better shape? Who knows. You can't list a bunch of guys who were injury prone and call them underachievers.

Re: Is Baron Davis retired....?
Davis was more of a playoff player than regular season. Knocked off TMac's Magic was an underdog (2002 or 03) and was the leader of the biggest upset in NBA history when his #8 Warriors beat #1 MVP Dirk-led Mavs in 2007.
I don't know if he was an underachiever because he never was a marquee player in the first place.

So now you show sympathy with players who had devastating injuries?

TMac and Sheed were not underachievers... Sheed was already covered, but TMac was nasty, and arguably the best player in the league until he got hurt.

He was hurt for the clippers so he got into being a media mogul. He's not playing ball anymore I guarantee it.

He went down with one nasty injury. It was playoffs, against Heat. I believe his ankle just twisted right before the camera's eyes. He was smiling too, almost like he knew he could eat what he wanted now and be rich.

Re: Is Baron Davis retired....?
For a lot of these players, an aspect of the dream was to be able to eat whatever they wanted. A choice they didn't have as kids growing up.
