No I mean he's not as fast and not as good of a scorer or passer as Westbrook. Westbrook is better than Irvng at everything.

Kyrie isn't a PG. He is a SG, and that too a very good one with an amazing handle which is amongst the best in the NBA, if not the best. The Cavs are much better off with LeBron running the offense.

I get sick of hearing that PGs have to be pass first guys only. Look how well that has worked out for CP3. 6 of the top 9 PGs in the league are shoot first types. It has to do with the evolution of the game and defensive rules.

    Westbrook
    Curry
    Wall

    CP3
    Lowry
    Lillard
    Irving
    Rose

    Parker

Sorry bro, Wall is not shoot first, and Curry is a perfect mix.
Parker is totally shoot first, a shot jacker even - Lowry too

Okay, you replaced two with 2 more. My point being that the majority of top 10 PGs in the game today are shot jackers. The position has changed. Alot has to do with bad bigs not being effective in the post anymore. Guards would rather just drive and score themselves than get an assist.

Wall never had to make a leap, it's been steady refinement of natural talent he had from day 1. He always had the vision, quick-decision making skills as a playmaker, and willingness to feed teammates. He's followed a pretty normal trajectory in terms of development.

Nope, wrong again. The bigs aren't terrible at scoring, the rules have changed and defenses have evolved. A guy like Vucevic would do just as well as someone like Rik Smits or Rony Seikaly in the 90's.

The game has changed, MJ ruined the league, Iverson started the craze of "PG" shot jackers. THe league has been on a decline since.

    The kid is 22.

    Age 19, Cavs went 21-45.
    Age 20, Cavs went 24-58.
    Age 21, Cavs went 33-49.
    Age 22, Cavs went...

    They got better every year.

He probably would have made the playoffs either this year or next year on his own.

He plays like its an all star game. When he brings the ball up, he doesnt look to pass. He will do a couple of flashy and 1 crossovers, then jack up a shot.

Even when he was going off tonight, it was terrible basketball because the rest of the team was basically in spectator mode.

Except that Eric Snow was their PG. They experiment of Iverson being a Pg in Philly was short lived. Snow brought up the ball and when he went to the bench McKie brought it up and sometimes other guards. Iverson got the ball once Snow brought it up but Iverson wasn't a PG.
