I think his acceleration is slower. But that doesn't matter of course, as he's playing better than Wall.

Very few NBA players actually have good shooting form.

When you start playing BBall as a little kid, it's hard to even get the ball up to the rim. Most people develop goofy looking shots because of this.

Its not. Wall just looks more atheletic so it appears slow when you see lin do it.
and because Wall is more atheletic he can sustain his speed while Lin can't.

but is Wall faster? yes. Speed is all about maximum sustained velocity. Can Lin Accelerate to those speeds, yes. But he can't sustain it. As I said "speed burst".

I have seen Wall go from inbound at his own paint to the other court for an airball layup while running out of control out of bounds in 2-3secs.

Thats maximum sustained speed.
