runner up in 1974 and 1978, losing both times with the host nation (germany & argentina) 1988 eurocup champions (amazing team)
gullit, koeman, blind, krol, rijkaard, resenbrick, stam, cocu, winter, bergkamp van der kerkoff, naninga, van basten, cruyff, overmars, neeskens, de boer, van breukelen...etc..etc...etc

you singled out a few sports and about 20 individuals does not make the entire country the most athletic.. there are more than 5 sports in the entire would.. a good gauge to use would be the OLYMPICS...
