2 years and 7.5 M for Nick Collison ain't too bad of a deal.

He's still a guy that I would trust in the playoffs, given the right situation for him to play, as opposed to Perkins. He's also a perfect guy to have in the locker room to help develop a culture that young guys like Waiters can get integrated into.

He's not a good rim protector in the sense of blocking shots but he is very good at taking charges, is very good at moving the ball and setting guys up on offense, and is a smart defender who can battle guys like Dirk and give them troubles from time to time.

Really don't see what the big deal is. If you're going to criticize OKC for anything it should obviously be keeping Brooks.
