interesting. this was also a team not really trying to break in players.

ya, it's strange to me how some of the ones actually freaking out are laker fans. either that or people who just hate them so they'll take glee in any loss. first game back with dwight...saw some good things.

really hope CD-R makes this roster though. he knows how to score and get to his spots on the floor. we need a guy who can do that because blake doesn't really run the offense well at all. i like goudlock too but i think he's gone. ugh, goudelock over duhon...never liked that idea but whatever.

do people really think LA will go with an all-bench lineup? dwight, gasol or kobe will all rotate and be with those guys at all times. dwight should be able to handle 40 minutes when he gets up to speed.

Was their starters first game together and they looked good but it will take time... Think laker fans are annoyed due to,the fact the starters came in and still lost. The chemistry thing could explain the 21 turnovers though.

true. i thought spacing was mostly fine but the timing stuff was just off. that makes sense since they're not really familiar w/ each other. i also thought gasol started off aggressive which was great but settled in the second half. took a couple jumpers and passed out of the post when he really had an advantage. i think he has a tendency to overthink but he's at his best when he's aggressive and quickly making a decision (either passing or driving).

I looked at the box score and was like.. WTF? Starters all played 30 plus minutes, Lakers shot 10% better from the field and still lost to the Kings?! Looks like the Lakers struggled from the line (assuming Dwight lol) and turnovers were large factors?

They're too old and big. Gonna get killed in transition. Can't challenge the skills that they still have, but you definitely gonna suffer in speed and stamina.

Turnovers were a big issue... At the wrong time too

to big? lol. Yeah because that is gonna be such a huge problem in the regular season. Dwight and Pau consuming the paint and blocking shots. will really suck making guys like westbrook strictly a jump shooter.

Seems like the Celt's philosophy this year, "go small and fast", is heading in the opposite direction. I look forward to the first game against LA.

And the Heat are packed with runners.

Its gonna be 2'easy for bron and wade in transition.

Chalmers is great running the floor too. I can't wait.
