Bayern's budget is €7 million euros (salaries are net in Germany). Dirk's salary is only about $9.3 million dollars net. So that isn't actually true. It was a huge exaggeration actually.
€7 million euros = $9.4 million
So the truth is that Dirk's salary is about the same as Bayern's budget, and not "double".
During the lockout, Kevin Durant and his agent even said that 6.5 million euros in net European basketball salary = a max NBA contract.

Actually the president and general manager of Bayern Munchen says Nowitzki's salary is double the entire budget of the basketball team.
My guess is he knows a hell of a lot more about Bayern's budget than a fulltime internet troll such as yourself.

Scumbag is trying to misdirect attention from the fact that he again tried to pull another of his douchey stunts and got caught. Point remains that this guy is a trailer park trash living out his miserable life in Arkansas.

No, he would not, because Dirk would command to much money. Hoeneß is a manager who first and foremost wants his club to be finantially healthy and stable.

Dirk's NBA salary is 20 million us-dollars. That's about 15 million euros.
Germany nearly has the same laws for working and basically the employer has to pay a "brutto"-Salary, which means he has to pay the full 15 millions, but has to pay taxes to the ministry of finance and social insurence. The employee receives the "netto"-salary.
It doesn't matter how much Dirk receives himself, it matters how much the club has to pay.

Dirk does not make 15 million euros net salary in the NBA. He only makes $9 million dollars net in the NBA.
Bayern's basketball budget is supposed to be around $10 million (7-8 million euros depending on the exchange rate).
So Dirk actually makes less than their budget, not "double". He was obviously just exaggerating.

Don't you get that it doesn't matter for Bayern what Dirk gets on his bank account, they have to pay the gross anyway. In germany the employer has to pay the taxes and not the employee. If you have a 10€ gross(brutto in german) salary and the taxes for that income category are 20% the employer has to pay 8€ to the employee and 2€ to the "IRS".
You're mixing up that players in germany receive net income, but the salary the club has to pay is gross. Opposed to the US where the play receives the gross as net and has to pay taxes himself or else commits tax fraud.
In most of europe you only receive the gross yourself as a freelancer of any kind.

You should just be glad Dirk decided to come to America. If he stayed in Europe, his team would have 10 Euroleague titles in a row and every single Euroleague team stadium would have a Dirk statue outside it like the massive Anthony Parker statue in Rhodes

Re: More bullshit from the ISH Director of Misinformation.
I'd like to let everyone know i am not interesting in ****ing Beyonce. She is not the type i like, and i feel i can do better. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BEYONCE.
And this dude isn't interested in Dirk on his team. Very meaningful.

No, because the gross and not the net counts for the salary. Mr Hoeneß has to pay 15 millions to have Mr Nowitzki play for his club. It doesn't matter for the salary that Mr Nowitzki only would receive 55% of it, which you said is the case..
