I agree with the impact but comparing ring count is not ridiculous argument. Greatness are measured when it matters and when the pressures are high.

So that makes Gretzky and Brady failures?

    Comparable yes, better no.

Yes, his play was a great factor in the series, not the only but a really important one.

Brady is considered the greatest QB is 4/6

Gretzky who is arguably greater to hockey than any athlete to his sport is 4/6

So stop it with this shit. Give a team it's due for what they've accomplished.
It's a team accomplishment, but it also reflects down to the vital players. Winning 6 times is also a personal accomplishment unless you're a Scalabrinetype 2 mins garbage time player.

The important factor is: Is your talent responsible for winning as a team? How much is it responsible. Take the 2nd best(next best) player at your position, how much might the outcome change?

Those with beautiful minds are enlightened enough to see that 2/6 > 6/6

I dunno much about hockey but in Football, Brady play only one facet of the game which is the offense and you rely more on on your teammates moreso than in basketball where teammates rely more on you.

So on that premise, replace 96 Jordan on last years Cavs finals roster and they win?

They are, but we live in an era where some superstars get all of the credit but none of the blame. It's not as if the rest of the team got much credit when Lebron was 'carrying' them to the Finals. We have idiots on here shitting on JR Smith because he was bad in the finals. Guess what btch, the Cavs prob don't beat the Bulls without JR

Losses are team accomplishments and when the superstar wins a championship, it's mostly about him.

They are team accomplishments, but there are instances you can definitely provide most of the credit or blame to an individual, like Hakeem in '94, Duncan in '03, or LeBron in '11
