Stephen Curry 2016 Finals Wrap Up
In 2016 Curry put up one of the worst finals performances by a MVP of all time
22.6 PPG, 4.9 TRB, 3.7 APG
17 Points in Game 7, the biggest game of his career.
This is what he looked like trying to guard Kyrie
Therefore we can conclude that Curry is a choking loser

lol 3.7 assists per game over the course of a 7-game series. You'd think because his scoring dipped so much, his assists would have gone up.
Nope, the exact opposite. What a letdown this guy was for his team after the incredible regular season he had.

lol, he fell off hard. That series pretty much sabotaged his shot at becoming a top 10 great. He had everything stacked in his favor too... just blew it
Adding insult to injury, Durant's coming to steal all the shine, literally and figuratively. Steph probably doesn't care, but he will no longer be the one getting the majority of the praise for wins. KD will win all the FMVP's and get most of the praise. I think this is the way things were supposed to be anyhow. Steph wasn't born to be "the man".. he just wasn't. He was born to be "one of the guys"... and now he's back to his rightful place.
Durant = Tom Brady
Curry = Drew Bledsoe

Most 4th Quarter Points during the Finals
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)
1993 Michael Jordan 10.3
In the 2016 Finals he was not able to play as well as he did in 2015
What happened in 2016 that didn't happen in 2015? The major MCL injury
The MCL is one of four ligaments connecting the femur bone to the tibia at the knee. It helps keep the knee stable as it moves from the outside to the inside.
So the lateral movements are going to put pressure on the ligament.

What happened in 2016 that didn't happen in 2015? The major MCL injury
The time table for return of an MCL sprain is 2 to 4 weeks.
(Keep in mind that healing timetable is for every day activity, nothing more strenuous than walking up one flight of stairs, NOT playing professional basketball)
Stephen Curry returned from the injury after only 2 weeks because the Warriors were struggling against Portland without him.
Stephen Curry re-aggravated his knee injury by coming back too early and then playing 40+ minutes of playoff basketball plus overtime in his record setting performance against Portland.
Therefore we can conclude that Curry's MCL injury was the differentiating factor which lowered Curry's production
Curry had no knee issues, he just played like shit.
Before Game 7:
People suffering with mcl tears dont do this.
Game 3:
Shit finals performers get this.

Doing a dunk in warm ups in no way indicates a player is 100% healthy. The main problem that is caused by an MCL injury is loss of lateral movement and explosiveness.

I don't believe Curry is a licenses M.D. as well so I wouldn't take his heat of the moment trash talk as expert medical opinion (That is even if he said, "I'm back, I'm here, I'm 100% healthy!") Which obviously he didn't
