Make no mistake, I'm not insinuating that Spoestra has the coaching clout that Pop has to date. All I'm saying is his team is going to be just as well prepared.

How can you even engage an any rational discussion when some of you dudes actually believe this?

Spoelstra isn't a real coach? Really? What is he then? Enlighten me.

Couldn't identify good coaching if it hit you right in the face.

That guy saying Spo=Pop is outta his fvcking mind. I believe the Spurs have a legit shot at beating Miami but if I'm betting, gimme the Heat in 6.

Pop is clearly the best coach in the NBA, but stop acting like Spo is a scrub coach being carried by stars. He's a very good coach that has come a long way, has a defensive philosophy, and has helped create a very efficient offense. He's managed to help everyone control their egos and play as a team, which is one of the biggest reasons they are the best team in the league.

We can talk matchups, but obviously the guy saying Spo is better than Pop is trolling.

Not once did I say Spoelstra was a better or equal coach than Popovich.

Reading is fundamental. I said his team would be just as well prepared. And that's just a fact.

Spoelstra is a fantastic coach who has maximized the talent on his roster. Period.

Just bring it. I always want to see Miami beat the Spurs in the playoffs. The Heat are 5-1 againts the Spurs since the formation of the Big Three.

U make no sense so your saying Heat are an all time talented team but the Knicks are still going to beat them.

I just can't name 5. They are a lot of very good coaches. And depending on the roster, they can all have sucsess.

    No particular order

    Popovich
    Thibodeau
    Spoelstra
    Carlisle
    Rivers
    Karl
    Aldeman

And if either of the Van Gundy brothers resurface, you can lump them right in that group.

Solid list. Don't get me wrong, I never said Spo was horrible, he deserves credit and he can't be a bad coach if Riley believes in him.
