This is the part where I list the names of players were this silly argument was used against. I mean, really? Did you really post that tired line?

    Laughable.

I mean, when you really think about it, it's eerie how similar they are as players. Both started getting loved for being young, efficient scorers with a clutch gene but when asked to lead a ballclub, they failed miserably in the locker room and subsequently their stats drastically declined in the process.

Bow are they any different besides the position they play?

Kyrie is a better passer but overall I agree

Rudy Gay is about to be the #2 option while Kyrie will remain the #1 option

kyrie has been ineffiecnt for about 20 games, and very efficient for about 100 before that

rudy has been inefficient his entire career

Look at the last 3 or so years in Memphis 46-47% is not bad at all for a SF who does other things.

the fg% isnt bad, but he doesnt make enough threes, or get to the line enough to make up for the slightly sub par fg%.

he was below average in memphis efficiency wise, not terrible, but definitely below average. league average TS% is about 54%, he was barely above it twice in memphis, and a good bit below that mark the other 4 years.

and then obviously, the last year and a half, his efficiency has gotten a lot worse.

i dont think the comparison, efficienct wise, to irving is fair at all.

I would always choose to keep Kyrie over Gay. Younger, handles the ball better and I think he can ultimately score better. Defense, I won't even comment on that, they both suck.

irving is still struggling with learning how to manage his effort on both ends of the floor. Byron never held Kyrie accountable. Mike Brown is demanding Kryie play D. Rightly so, the leader of the team should be the one setting the tone.

People wanna dog on PB with waiters but in reality waiters has been the better player than Kyrie has in quite of few of the games played this season. Any intelligent cavs fan who watches the games will agree.

Knicks need an Irving. Knicks don't need Gay, they already have a better version of him in Melo.

@ you fans of other teams who worship Irving when in actuality, he's not that good.

    So hilarious
