Default At their Athletic Peak: Wade or Kobe?

    Who was more athletic?

    Wade

    Kobe

These were mostly dunking gifs but if someone wants to put speed, vertical gifs/videos, I'll make other posts with those gifs/videos.

Wade was quicker, stronger, and had more explosion.

Kobe had the higher vertical and was more shifty around the basket, though that could be due to his superior footwork.

Wade is the better specimen, Kobe the better player.

Uh, yes it was. He used to make VC and McGrady look slow.

Wade relies a lot on screens to get a step on his defender.

Kobe had nice handles and relied on them to beat defenders

But his pure first step was not that amazing

Not better than VC or T Mac

VC relied on pure athleticism to get to the bucket

Your delusional..........he was CLEARLY more explosive off the first step than either of them.

Your either hating or haven't seen enough of kobe when he was young.

    Purely athletically? It's Wade.

Dude was a freak. Sometimes you really forgot that he was barely 6'4...

In shoes(what NBA heights go by) he's closer to 6-5 than 6-4, and he has a huge wingspan and hands....those help a lot.

Oh, he's the delusional one... right.

Not the extremely biased lakers/kobe homer who swings from his nuts any chance he can...

    he's not delusional at all.

Kobe glided to the rim, and had practically NO explosiveness at all. Hence why he's considered such a boring dunker and why no one will ever consider him an all time great athletic specimen. Because he's not.
