    Default Considering their age at the time, which one is the most impressive Finals MVP?

    Candidates I can think of;

    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, age 38, against the Celtics in 1985 NBA Finals;
    25.7 ppg 9.0 rpg 5.2 apg 1.0 spg 1.5 bpg on .604 fg .769 ft .629 ts (.548 ts series avrg)
    21.7 gmsc, 31.2 eff with 0.878 eff per min (his team averaged 139.2 eff per game for the series, making his eff ratio 22.4%)
    Won the series by 4-2. Was the best player on the court despite early-prime Magic and peak Bird.

    Michael Jordan, age 34, against the Jazz in 1997 NBA Finals;
    32.3 ppg 7.0 rpg 6.0 apg 1.2 spg 0.8 bpg on .456 fg .764 ft .532 ts (.519 ts series avrg)
    23.4 gmsc, 28.7 eff with 0.672 eff per min (his team averaged 101.2 eff per game for the series, making his eff ratio 28.3%)
    Won the series by 4-2. He scored 77 in the last 2 games (decided by 2 and 4 points).

    Hakeem Olajuwon, age 32, against the Magic in 1995 NBA Finals;
    32.8 ppg 11.5 rpg 5.5 apg 2.0 spg 2.0 bpg on .483 fg .692 fg .514 ts (.562 ts series avrg)
    24.5 gmsc, 34.0 eff with 0.760 eff per min (his team averaged 136.5 eff per game for the series, making his eff ratio 24.9%)
    Won the series by 4-0. Even though 22 yo Shaq relatively held his ground, he showed who's the boss.

    LeBron James, age 31, against the Warriors in 2016 NBA Finals;
    29.7 ppg 11.3 rpg 8.9 apg 2.6 spg 2.3 bpg on .494 fg .721 ft .562 ts (.542 ts series avrg)
    26.5 gmsc, 36.6 eff with 0.877 eff per min (his team averaged 112.3 eff per game for the series, making his eff ratio 32.6%)
    Won the series by 4-3. Made an incredible comeback against the 73W Warriors from 1-3.

    Hakeem. I’m pretty sure you can find video of Shaq talking about the series where he flat out admits Hakeem ate him alive.

    Modern Medicine and performing enhancing drugs has turned back the clock for today’s players and allows their primes to be extended. Early 30’s for an nba player is not old by today’s standards.

    My vote is for Kareem because in game 1 of the 85 finals ( the Memorial day massacre) Boston blew out the Lakers by 35 points and KAJ was terrible that day. Kareem in the next 5 games scored 28.4 points per game on 61% shooting. He also pulled down 10.2 rebounds and had 6.0 assists per game for those 5 games. Beating Boston in Boston at the age of 38 -he gets my vote.

    Hakeem for outplaying Shaq. Lebron's shouldn't even be mentioned. Dude had a guy on his team who outplayed the unanimous MVP player and still took 7 games to win and needed to get someone suspended and the Starting Center to go down.

    Any one of the players mentioned could lead in all 5 categories against a GSW team that was suspended/injured. When's the last time 2 guys scored 41+ points on the same team at high efficiency in a finals game? Tells us all we need to know about how meaningless that image is.
