At the end of the first quarter:

Westbrook has 9 pts, 4 rebs, 6 ast

Ibaka with 11 pts, 6 rebs, 2 blocks

one question i can't get out of my head -

when we get everyone back, do we dare go with the following lineup at SOME point down the stretch or in the playoffs in a huge game. would brooks possibly have the courage to pull this off and just decimate one of these pretenders.

    PG Russell Westbrook
    SG Kevin Durant
    SF Serge Ibaka
    PF Enes Kanter
    C Steven Adams

i honestly think we could pull it off against a lot of teams. would be one of the most insane lineups ever.

oh, and in case we needed 3 point shooting:

    PG DJ Augustin
    SG Russell Westbrook
    SF Anthony Morrow/Kyle Singler
    PF Kevin Durant
    C Serge Ibaka

the bottom line is that we have 2 guys who can play 3 positions: westbrook (1-3), kd (2-4, plus Point Forward), and Ibaka (3-5).

I really wish Waiters could shoot.

    Or finish.

another serious question, and it is absolutely hilarious to consider:

as i watch dion waiters fly to rebounds and loose balls on the defensive end like never before, i am honestly wondering if the whole "we don't run plays - someone can just clear out" system run by Brooks leads to guys like Waiters fighting harder on the defensive end. a steal or a rebound for dion = a shot for dion.

Brooks gets his team to play, but im not sure if that's the sacrifice he makes.

Everyone playing with so much energy, hustle plays all around. Love seeing this new ball movement from Brooks. He may be a retard but he knows how to use new players, at least until Durant gets back.

Looked like Waiters had an open layup.

Before the trade I didn't mind having Waiters, but now I don't know
