Stojakovic is Serbian you idiot, just because he has a Greek passport doesn't make him Greek...Born in Serbia, raised in Serbia, played for the Serbian NT, and you consider him Greek just because of the 4 years he played for PAOK? So does that mean you see Ronaldinho, who holds both Brazilian and Spanish passports, to be Spanish? Dumbass.

He has lived in Greece since he was 16 years old.

It's odd that he has not lived in Serbia for the last 20 years................and instead has lived in Greece for the last 20 years, if he has absolutely no connection at all to Greece.

And he does not just have a Greek passport. He has complete and total Greek status and 100% full citizenship in every way.

    IDIOT.

Where's the link about him being the top prospect in his projected draft class?

At 14, he attracted so much curiosity that NBA scouts traveled to Greece to see him. He hasn't played a minute of high school basketball in the United States, yet every major college from the ACC, Big East, Pac-12, Big 12 and Big Ten has ventured out to the bucolic Westtown (Pa.) campus.

    There's a reason.

The 7-foot-1, 250-pound junior could arguably be the best high school center in the country. He could already be the best center in the Philadelphia area—and that includes the NBA's young, rebuilding Philadelphia 76ers.

One thing seems certain: It looks like Papagiannis is heading in that direction. Papagiannis will play for Westtown this season, a
school with an international flavor to its roster.

Westtown coach Seth Berger has seen the best and coached some of the best high school basketball players that have come out of Southeastern Pennsylvania, one of the most fertile hoops areas in the country that's produced some of the greatest that have ever played (Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant, just to name a few).

Berger is not ready to say Papagiannis is the next Wilt Chamberlain or the next Kobe Bryant. But in his seven years of coaching at Westtown and in his nine years total at the small, high-academic Quaker school, Papagiannis is the best he's coached.

"I think he's the best player I will ever coach until I'm 80 years old; he has a legitimate chance to be a top five pick in the 2016 NBA Draft," Berger said. "George is a one-and-done for sure. He's that once-in-a-lifetime kind of player."

Papagiannis possesses a unique blend of athleticism and skill that belies someone his age — and most importantly — at someone his height. He can put the ball on the floor. He handles the ball well both in half-court sets and in transition. He moves incredibly well for someone his size.

Berger stresses that Papagiannis goes against the European stereotype of highly skilled big men that are "soft."

"George is just the opposite, he's skilled and tough," Berger said. "He'll initiate the contact and takes up space. He'll keep in contact with his defender. He's very comfortable being the center.

"George also moves like someone who's a foot shorter than he is. He does everything well. He's big, strong, coordinated and talented. Around the basket, he has the ability to be as talented and skilled like Hakeem Olajuwon and around the mid-post, he has the ability of Tim Duncan. He can play for a number of major college teams right now. We've been getting tons of interview requests, but right now he wants to be a high school kid and that's it."

Berger continued to say that the biggest surprise he's found is how well Papagiannis shoots the ball.

"I didn't think he would have as good a touch from 15 to 20 feet for someone as big as George is," Berger said.

Truth is he married a greek woman, and was spending NBA off seasons in Greece. Not sure where he lives now.Yes he's a Serbian by birth, but he could easily play for Greek NT (but those in charge and rest of greek nt were completely morons in his case.Coach at that time wanted him,but they vetoed.Funnily they had no objection for Russian Lumberjack Tsakalidis aka Ledkov a few years later )

He still lives in Greece. He couldn't play for the Greek NT even though he wanted to because of the politics involved in it then.

Things are different now of course, which is how someone like Jankovic could now play for the team.

I think his upside quite frankly is a top five, one-and-done, 2016 pick,

He is now 7'1" tall, with a 7'6" wingspan, and he now weighs 240 pounds.

He is currently the top rated prospect in Europe. He will play this fall in AAU basketball in the USA, starting with his junior year in high school.

Here is YouTube footage of him playing in the 2013 World Under-16 Championship in Turkey. He was 15 years old at this time.

Greece won the gold medal and Papagiannis was voted to the all-tournament team.
    Currently projected by who?

Either way, it's nice to see a kid from another country try and do what Rubio did at those ages. The Greek is having less success though.

He's having more success. He's going to be a higher draft pick than Rubio was.

Seeing how much you like to open up for a good butt **** I'm surprised AIDS hasn't run its course.

Kid will be a 6th draf pick at most. No one trusts Greek players at this point. Plus, his birth cirtificate was falsified, kid is 19-20, just like Africaan players do to stand a chance, tells you a lot about the current state of affairs in Greece.
