Yep, from what I've read over the past few years, he really has seemed to get things together. I guess you never know how true that is or if it'll last, but I've been glad to see it. He seems to be Seattle's child now, owns a bar on the south side, all that stuff.

Am I the only one that thinks this is extremely sad? And a bit tasteless too? I mean, what did the OKC players do Kemp and other Seattle fans?

I respect your opinion on the matter but I do not share said viewpoint. I'd venture to say it'll be more about celebrating the city of Seattle than anything else.
Moreover, there's no hatred aimed at Russell Westbrook and company, and I'd presume those players are aware of that. If their joy of OKC's shortcoming was guided at anyone, it'd likely be Clay Bennett and only him.

Damn... If he is keeping close tabs, his life must suck. Few teams have two scoring champs & MVP candidates on their roster these days.
Should focus on celebrating his kids' birthdays or something more constructive instead.
