    And is expected to make a full recovery. The article doesn't say why he needed the surgery but the surgery took place on his 68th birthday, which was on Thursday.

    He's had health problems in recent years. It's not uncommon for people his height. The heart has to work a lot harder to circulate blood the bigger/longer/taller you are.

    Yao Ming and Gheorge Mhuresan probably won't live to see 55.
