If it's true, Parsons is the best GM in the league.
For real. Parsons basically gets max contract till he retires and then GM, after that owner.

Well yeah, but "firmly in lead"
Clips have the mini-MLE to sign a centre

If DJ wanted to stay in LA he would stay with the Clippers with the much better team and the bigger salary.

Look at this beast..
once this is through, I won't say this was a 'very good' off season like some reporter just did on twitter, but definitely interesting.

So who's the Clippers starting center? Wonder if a 3 team trade could work Clippers get Hibbert, Mavs get Jordan and Indie gets Ellis

it depends on what else we add. if we do a sign and trade, which we should, who cares about helping the Clippers...you have to make your team the best it can be.
if we do these sign and trades to retain cap...and then add a legit starting pg and another back up big....and then keep Barea....and then get a guy on one of our exceptions....then add a couple vet minimum guys....and Anderson is decent
then it's going to be an amazing off season.
this is one of those years where it has to be all results oriented....too much unknown with Wes hurt and all the stuff above.

Free agent center DeAndre Jordan has informed Mavs owner Mark Cuban & coach Rick Carlisle he is coming to Dallas, sources told Yahoo Sports.

I'm hoping for this. It allows Mavs to keep cap space which is absolutely necessary in my opinion.
I think it's a big mistake worrying about helping the Clippers. There is not a great chance we play them in the playoffs anyway (if we make it) and there are other teams to worry about.
If we retain 10 million of cap by doing a couple sign and trades (and take a team take on Felton as part of it)...we have a ton of options.
