He is right. Floppers throughout history have always tried to gain an advantage for their team by faking or exaggerating contact, notably under the boards on loose ball fouls. But the NBA now is actively promoting this type of play with the way they've chosen to call the game. All that fining floppers nonsense is little more than a PR move.

He is right tho. They need to penalize flops more heavily if they expect people to stop doing it. I'm sure people did it in the past too...it was probably just more frowned upon by players than it is now.
