So I'm going to make an educated guess and say your voting for chamberlain?

He'd vote for Wilt as number 1 anyday. He pretends Wilt is tied with MJ, Russell, and Magic. But deep inside those guys are just number 2+. He tries to mask his bias but its all too clear really. I'd respect him more if he just comes out and admit his bias and stop pretending.

I would say it's justified.
Magic is basically the Russell of offense (no coincidence that he's arguably the greatest winner after Russell). Put him on a basketball court and suddenly his team will be scoring like crazy.

I can understand anyone taking Wilt over Bird in a ranking like this, simply because the totatilty of his career was a little better than Birds, who had an inconsistent first 4 years and an injury ridden last 4.

However, I'm taking a prime Larry Bird over a prime Chamberlain all day, every day, and 33 times on Sunday. And, to me, that's enough to give him the slight edge.

My vote goes to Larry Bird.

I'll just quickly correct myself though. Strictly speaking, Wilt didn't lose BACK to BACK to BACK game 7s over those 3 years because, in 1970, the Lakers beat the Suns in a game 7 in the first round (And from my understanding, he played very well).

That doesn't exactly make up for him losing the do-or-die champisonship winning game (The ECFs were the real Finals in 1968) in 3 straight post seasons though. LMFAO.
