The defense in the NBA these days is practically non-existent.
Just wondering, but did you even watch the game?

I hope you're not inserting me into that category ... Because I never said otherwise. I knew Durant had trouble with physicality on the NBA level (which is admittedly less than in FIBA rules) when I saw what Artest was able to do to Durant in the playoffs this year, but watching him in a mear exhibition game under FIBA rules set it in stone for me. This kid gets shook with contact.
I don't always agree with you as a poster because you make some absolutely hideous and ridiculous claims, but your stance on THIS topic in terms of Durant v.s. physical defense is absolutely on point. And as a fan of Team USA its very frightening to think our "best scorer" gets so rattled when faced with tough defense where the rules allow him to be touched.
But its not like Durant is our country's best and most capable scorer anyway ... we have the best scorers on the planet, and none of them are playing in this tournament, and the ones I'm referring to are absolutely fine with contact, some even thriving with it. Durant's just not that versatile of a scorer. He can play under streamlined defensive rules and be comfortable enough to get off ... but not against physical defense.

Doesn't the trapezoid lane kind of restrict post play?

hoping the USA with their speed and quickness, length advantage will be able to do a full court press for most of the game to create turnovers into fastbreaks. was kind of disappointed they didnt display this for the france game.

I think Kristic has been much better in the NBA than he's ever been with the national team. Luis Scola is amazing in the NBA too, when he actually gets the ball.
Also, you have no idea what you're talking about, so I don't know why you're posting.
