Default Upon further analysis.

Really, let's take a closer look at the most recent installation of this bearded ****'s "I'm gonna suck ass" act in the playoffs.

--------------------------------

James Harden 2013-14 Regular Season Stats:

25.4 ppg
6.1 apg
4.7 rpg
1.6 spg
0.4 bpg
3.5 TOV
.456 FG%
.366 3PT%
.866 FT%
.618 TS%
23.5 PER
120 ORTG
107 DRTG
.221 WS/48

James Harden 2013-14 Playoff Stats:

26.8 ppg
5.8 apg
4.7 rpg
2.0 spg
0.2 bpg
3.5 TOV
.376 FG%
.296 3PT%
.900 FT%
.519 TS%
18.5 PER
112 ORTG
115 DRTG
.110 WS/48

Regular Season to Playoffs differentials:

1.4 ppg
-0.3 apg
0.0 rpg

0.4 spg
-0.2 bpg
0.0 TOV
-8% FG
-7% 3PT

3.4% FT
-10% TS
-5 PER
-8 ORTG
-8 DRTG
-16 Net O/D
-.111 WS/48

As you can see, literally the only thing he stepped up his level in was free throw shooting and steals. The former of which padded his scoring a tiny bit, and the latter of which was utterly meaningless considering his defense was blatantly just as bad if not worse than the pitiful defense we saw from him in the regular season. The arrogant little shit even had the audacity to order people around on defense in the most important play of the whole series....and we all know how that ended up

We could attribute this to small sample size, but that’s a bit unfair for statistical analysis with Harden, considering that small sample sizes are all we’ll ever get with him in the playoffs. His days of 15-20 game playoff runs ended when he lost 2 superstars to hide behind - sorry Dwight, you’re great and were a beast in the playoffs, but offensively you’re no Durant or Westbrook. Gone are the days when he can enter games with close to zero pressure, and hide behind two offensive juggernauts whenever the lights shine their brightest and the intensity cranks up. He’s got nowhere to hide. That is, of course, unless someone like Durant or some other top 5 player comes over to Houston to let Harden comfortably be the role player he truly is.

Now for some fun facts. In the Rockets’ 2014 first round demolition, Harden posted:

- the 2nd worst eFG% of his team…yes, worse than Jeremy Lin, Terrence Jones, Patrick Beverley…all of them except Francisco fucking Garcia
- the 3rd worst offensive rating, only marginally better than Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin
- tied for the 5th worst defensive rating
- worse WS/48 than Terrence Jones, and through the first 5 games of the series, his WS/48 was HALF of Dwight’s.
- when Harden was on the court, the Blazers scored 3.5 ppg more, and on nearly 5% eFG better shooting

Just for shits and giggles, here’s just a few of the 28 superstar, all-time great players that had a higher playoff PER than Harden:

Chris Douglas-Roberts
Kosta Koufos
Tiago Splitter
Shelvin Mack
Brandan Wright
Marreese Speights
Chris Andersen
Dejuan Blair
Andray Blatche

So much for being the efficient, cold-blooded killer the media tried to make him out to be. Getting outplayed by the likes of Kosta Koufos and Shelvin fucking Mack...

Well done Houston Rockets.

You’ve rested your hopes on the biggest fraud in NBA history. Truly one of the most pathetic pseudo stars in all of sports, and a disgrace to humanity.

Enjoy him

he gets the benefit of the flop and superstardom calls in the regular season. But playoffs is a different animal and he's getting exposed everyone playoffs so far.

Good thing OKC kept Ibaka.

They gave him a max deal

2 "all NBA players" that can't make it out of the first round together with home court while surrounded by great role players

Enjoy it Houston

The drop in his efficiency is staggering. And it's crazy because Portland isn't even a good defensive team. But they did a good job of not fouling him, and when Harden can't get to the line, he has a hard time getting it going in the half court.

This is another huge point. Portland has one of the worst PnR defenses in the league, they should've just abused that from the start. Even otherwise he should've torched them, Portland's never been an elite defensive team..

I'm not even surprised. I said all along that once the playoffs came and defense tightened up and refs swallowed their whistles that his game would unravel.

Now I didn't think he would fail in such epic proportions but still the writing was on the wall.

He's too one dimensional of a player. If his outside shot isn't falling he's utterly useless.

And the worst defense I've ever seen.

Even old broken Kobe had 1000x defense compared to Haren. That's not a fair comparison at all. Kobe with a torn achilles is still a better defender than Harden. Also I'm not a Kobe stan.

He scored a little over 1 ppg more...while being clearly worse in just about everything else. If you're suggesting that Kobe in the playoffs gets worse in everything but scoring by 1ppg...I don't know what to tell you.

There were times in the series in which Harden flat out didn't look like he belonged in the NBA.

Are there any Harden stans on this board? I mean, crushing a player is less fun when there are no fans around.
