Michael Wilbon: Doc Rivers Has Been Told LeBron James Doesn't Want to Be Coached

Lebron is uncoachable, this is why it's completely absurd for bran stans to complain he never had a good coach or played in a good system. He can't do those things

LeBron will shoulder bump him before Christmas if it were to happen.

He has to be coached , to know when the ball is coming to him ??
I think he is a very intelligent player , but I doubt he would ever get into a coaching job.
I think the Lakers will try to get : Erik Spoelstra or Jeff Van gundy.

So?
Lebron has earned that. He is the highest IQ superstar of all time.
He is the coach on the court, where it matters. What good organization do you know of that puts two people equally in chage? It just produces conflict and indecision. There is no sense in hiring someone to "coach the coach."
The Laker's need Lebron's leadership. Not some random bozo in a suit.

Get him a body bag!

More reasons to hate that bum.

Yeah he's earned the right I guess but that's the whole problem. Why would you want to? LeBrons ego has got in the way of him winning alot more chips. He'd have way more than 3 chips if he was willing to play within a system lead by a great coach. Instead he wants to be the system and be the coach himself. every great winning goat and goat teams in any sport have people who do what there good at and let others do the same. Players play, coaches coach, managers manage and owners take a step back and let everyone do what he pays them to do. It rarely works when one of those guys thinks he can do one of the others roles.

And what has that gotten them this year that they didn't have last year??
Just because he has high bball IQ doesn't mean he can't be coached. If he actually listened more to his coaches maybe he'd have one or two more titles.
Even Tom Brady who has the highest IQ of any football player alive still wouldn't have the same impact without Belichick. And James isn't higher on the list than Brady so he shouldn't be above coaching.

Lebron is good at maximizing his own statistical production, not the amount of talent on the team. that's why his teams always underperform. Stans have claimed its cause Lebron never had a good coach, but reality is that he is uncoachable. he only knows how to play ONE way.

Good college starter
Re: Michael Wilbon: Doc Rivers Has Been Told LeBron James Doesn't Want to Be Coached
At his age and state of mind he doesn't want any part of a coaching job, and Jeanie wouldn't this to him, but for some reason I think deep down she wants him around playing zen chess to LeBron's passive-agressive checkers, with his mind games and sly media quotes, throwing the occasional posse quote here and there for good measure.
In all seriousness, LeBron seems to work best with yes men who can't overshadow his ego. Even Kobe learned to keep his ego in check in his latter years, a guy whom Jackson called uncoachable at one point, and then proceeded to win two more titles with. Doubt LeBron has it in him to let someone else dictate how his team should be run. He has been given free reign throughout his career he's grown accustomed to expecting it, it's too late now.

You deserve some sort of award for wording this absolutely perfectly.
Facts are going to hurt some feelings but THIS is literally the reality

Idiots like yourself will say that, and in the same breath whine "LeBron never played for a HOF coach man!!!"
In a system heavily 'coach-influenced', he wont buy in. That's NOT and will NEVER be a good thing. Don't pretend otherwise.

You're the ****ing idiot, everything Lebron's gotten has been EARNED NOT GIVEN.
And who the **** are you? Some clown on a message board. I think Lebron knows just a weeeee bit more about succeeding in basketball and in life than your pansy ass.
Take a ****ing walk, jester.

Its crazy...this dude has basically been exposed as a ballhandling Dwight Howard this year.
Career long any squad with a good coach or system wouldve squandered their dynasty potential.
