Lebowski, are you not even a little worried about being 1 and done? Siena isn't going to be a pushover. They've got a good and experienced team.
Of course I am, don't get me wrong, I'm not taking Siena or TAMU lightly, I wouldn't be amazed if they lost to either. I'm saying Sweet 16's their ceiling.

I didn't think so.
I think it was two years ago (after I had seen one too many 56-51 Big 10 basketball games) that I really couldn't stand anyone in the conference. Then I watched Purdue and a freshman Robbie Hummel and really liked them. I've sort of adopted them as my Big 10 team. And how can you not love Chris Kramer? That was the first Purdue player I felt really bad for after the Hummel injury. I really liked Purdue as a Final Four team come tourney time in the right region with the right matchups, and of course they get the perfect region the same year they lose their best player a few weeks before tourney time.
Interesting seedings. Washington comes in having won 7 straight but with only 1 of those games a challenge (CAL). Hard to say they're playing well or not with who they were facing, but 4 of those games were thumpings and 3 of them were on the road. Marquette on the other hand has had lady luck on their side, winning 6 of their last 8, 3 of those OT wins, a 2 point win, and a 4 point win.
Thats a tough one to call. Marquette is a scrappy team and they have played in a TON of close games this year. That experience will come in handy during the tourney. The Pondexter/Hayward match-up will be fun to watch. I'm going with Marquette.
I might be crazy but I think Georgetown vs Ohio might be closer than they'd like it to be. Inconsistency is their strong suit and if they aren't all healthy could be trouble.
Kris Joseph's older brother Maurice plays for Vermont and they play each other in the first round. Maurice gets 14ppg for them, pretty cool. He's a transfer from MSU.
