Absolutely zero case for Barkley over Wilt, Julius, or even Iverson as a 76er.

You ever see Chuck in Philly?

I'll give you Wilt, and maybe Dr. J. But all AI has over Chuck is scoring, and even then, Chuck could score with the best of him if he wanted to.

No no I'm not saying Iverson was a better basketball player, but he was a greater 76er. It comes down to how you view the question.

The other two are just point blank.

Wade is CLEARLY the greatest player in Heat history. Just because he left doesn't change that. He completely dominates the Heat's record book. All time franchise leader in games, minutes, wins, FGA's, FG's, points, assists, steals, WS, playoff games, minutes, wins, series wins, FGA's, FG's, points, assists, steals, WS, blocks, series wins, finals appearances, championships won, all-star selections, and all-NBA selections. He's also 2nd all-time in regular season blocks, 4th in rebounds, and 3rd in playoff rebounds.

Wade brought the Heat their first title and he was the primary reason Lebron and Bosh came to Miami. The entire organization changed when he was drafted. Up until then the Heat had never even reached the finals. They've reached 5 since Wade's arrival and won 3 titles. He was the catalyst for all of their success in the last 13 years. He was the face of the franchise for over a decade and the greatest athlete in south Florida history.

If we're talking "greatest" then probably no one has done that.

Best? Its only Lebron (CLE, MIA) and CP3 (NOH, LAC) for sure. You could argue Wilt for GS & PHI but there might be an argument for Steph in GS, Kareem for MIL & LAL but there might be an argument for Magic or Shaq in LAL, or Shaq for ORL & LAL but there might be an argument for Kareem or Magic in LAL.

You do realize this guy played for the Nets franchise, right?

Mav fans have this type of argument over whether to put Kidd's jersey in the rafters. Kidd was a great player. But his best year was with NJ and Phhx. The Mavs had him as youngin and as a crusty old vet.

I tend to view it as whether you great for the city over a sustained time. For example, Jordan would not even sniff the Wizrds/Bullets team. But others feel differently because he played there for a couple of years.

But if you go by the logic of "playing" on any franchise...

Hakeem with Houston and Toronto. (But I don't agree with it.)
