Good college starter
Then again DaJuan Wagner could become another Stephon Marbury, without the whining.

Wagner doesnt have the speed nor passing ability of a Marbury. But he can score like Marbury when healthy.

either way. It'll be interesting to see how well Wagner can do on any team in the league. Guy is simply too talented

Great college starter
jay williams and djuan wagner, probably the best 2 players out there you can get for the league minimum
the comeback kids, the blazers should snap them up

I'm not talking about skill, just role. Come off the bench and be the go to guy for 10 minutes at a clip. If he's hot, you run with him, if not, try again tomorrow. The problem is that it's not worth dealing with him to put him in that role. He doesn't defend well enough to play 2, and he can't run a team at all. So there aren't a whole lot of roles for him to fill.
If he does turn into a starter quality guy there's no reason you couldn't stick him on the Bulls or Clippers, both teams have pure PGs that can guard SGs full-time so Wagner can guard the PG yet be a scorer.

Jay Williams? Guy has worked for teams the past 2 seasons and has yet to get a deal. Heck is he even trying out with an NBA franchise or still practicing in the gym by himself?

The problem is that his score at all cost mentality takes a lot out of an offensive system, and makes it difficult to get anyone else going. At the same time, you don't want to take that away from him, because it's what he does best, so you don't want to suppress it. There's nothing wrong with that explosive bench role, where he may have 2 big games a week, then not play all that much the rest, because he just doesn't have it that night. The difficulty would be in proving that to him.

Re: Wagner scores 132 points in 2 games!
I didn't like him as a player, but as a person he deserves a chance to showcase his skills.
I'd like to see what he has left.
And, how does he poo?
