The guy is so smart. He rebounds better than patterson and will be a great high low compliment to Val. He also has a wealth of experience. A second unit of Joseph ross jj patterson and biyombo will have so much energy. That ball will be flying out there with those guys. Ross and patterson will be the main scorers and jj and Joseph will move the ball and make the right play. Too me Scola will help keep derozen and Lowry accountable. Great steadying influence. Whatever the team needs he will do.

Casey seems to love his vet guys and unless there is some huge culture change... it was planned this way when they signed him to replace Amir/Hansborough.

1st rotation :

2nd rotation:

Corey PG
Ross SG (rotate on D with below)
Johnson SF (rotate on D with above)
Patterson PF
Biyombo C

Not that you will see extended minutes with these specific rotations.

I would assume that Ross is kind of the "odd man" rotational player or the 6th man. I can see him being rotated in the play for Demar or Demarre so long as he is consistent.

I really like patterson Johnson and ross together. Joseph moving the ball. That defence can do some trapping and rotating. Biyombo can protect the rim.
Scola is just so smart. He will make Val so much better.
