There is no way Durant, the best player in the world, wants to spend his entire career with a ball hogging PG that has zero ability or care to get his teammates into a rhythm.

Westbrook is a detriment to a team like OKC, a team that simply needs a PG to be a great defender, distributor, and open shot maker. They don't need a chucking wanna be alpha taking shots from Durant.

Westbrook can't be coached. He should be playing for a team like the Sixers, where he can put up huge numbers and get a team to the playoffs in the east and be patted on the back for it.

I didn't see the game but a few poster above said that OKC lost their lead in the third quarter when Westbrook wasn't even in the game.

Furthermore, looking at the box score Westbrook was +4 and Durant was -4. And Westbrook had a great line tonight with a near triple double and 10-16 from the field.

Durant had 0 assists, and was -4 in plus minus.

So your claim isn't adding up to me.

I don't understand why they don't play off each other in crunch time. That way it distracts the defense even more. What is the point of putting two superstars on the same floor if either of them is just going to ball hog to jack up a shot taking turns.
