Imagine if LeBron took the Kobe route and would only sign with a contender like San Antonio? 8 rings right now.
This post has so much fail.
First off Kobe didnt "run to LA" this myth has been dis proven time and time again. Including just yesterday on ISH.
second, Kobe was drafted before Shaq signed dumbass
An by trading Kobe for Divac they opened up enough space to sign Shaq..
Kobe was drafted, 12 teams passes on him..
Lebron ran to another team that not only had a scoring champ, a multiple time all star & all nba player who was a former FMVP, and had proven he didn't need Lebron to win but also had another multiple time all star too
Imagine if Kobe in his prime joined T Mac & Chris Webber, and then after leaving that team went and joined Jason Kidd & brought Dirk with him. THEY WOULD NEVER LOSE.
And even though Lebron does exactly that, he still "doesn't have enough help"
Kobe would honestly have 8-10 rings if he spent his entire prime hoping from super team to super team like a scared bitch.

But dude was already on the most loaded teams from 1997-2004 and 2008-2011?
So basically without that 3-year window from '05-'07?

His peak years?
Pretty much.
And who cares if he was on a talented team when he was 19 years old.

Must be why when the Lakers got rid of two all stars in Jones & Van Exel and replaced them by inserting Kobe into the starting line up that the lakers took off an began winning titles.
08-11 = loaded?
Again you'll have to remind me how a "loaded" team in 2008 only has 1 all star.
Pau/Odom & a Bynum that plays 50 regular season games and then is limited in the playoffs is loaded? Combined with the fact that the major bench player are Luke Walton, Jordan Farmar, and one of these so called "loaded" teams had Vlad Ramonovic starting..
If Lebron was playing with Al Jefferson as his 2nd best player with no other all stars would you consider them loaded?
And you missed the part where I said "like Lebron" aka playing with 2 all stars everywhere he goes.
Every ring Kobe has won he did so with only 1 all star beside him.. I'm sure he he spent 05-10 playing with Dirk & another all star he would have more rings than he currently has.

Guys like Pau, Metta World Peace, Horace Grant, Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Brian Shaw, Luke Walton, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Hill all said that. Even his olympic teammates have nothing but good things to say about Kobe.

Again with the lame "All Star" argument.
All Star selections are nothing more than popularity contests, and have nothing to do with a players actual skill level. NEXT!

Couldn’t Bryant be a Hornet? Could he grow to love Southern sweet tea?
“That is an impossibility,” Bryant’s agent, Arn Tellem, said at the time. “There are no ifs. It would not happen. He is going to be a Laker, and that’s the only team he’s playing for.”
Lakers knew they would get Shaq after trading Divac. That plan was in place before the draft, once they talked to Charlotte.
12 teams passed on him because the Tellem memo had been sent out..."Kobe will play for LA only."
James already played with scrubs for 7yrs. Played out his contract and signed with talent. If Wade and Bosh continued to put up their numbers after James went to Miami, you'd have a point. Yet his B2B Finals wins leading the Heat's entire postseason in points, rebounds, assists and steals.
James would have 8 rings if wasn't too scared to try to build a winner for a garbage franchise like Kobe was.
Kobe, a few years with mediocre teammates:
"Bryant has always got what he wanted in Los Angeles. Now the address has lost its luster with losing. He wants out of the place he once demanded for his arrival.
For weeks, Bryant has been crying for a trade when he is actually screaming for relevance.
The Lakers were eliminated in the first round for the second straight year and haven't won a playoff series since 2004, when Shaquille O'Neal left Los Angeles. Bryant let it be known after the game that changes must come.
"Do it and do it now," he said. "Personally for me, it's beyond frustration -- three years and still being at ground zero. This summer's a big summer. We have to see what direction we want to take as an organization and make those steps and make them now."

A stacked Heat team who ran out of gas in the 2014 NBA Finals. LeBron felt like the Heat are done. That's why he went back to Cleveland and didn't return Pat Riley's text messages, email's etc. about returning to Miami.

Because he cried to the media for a trade once he saw how tough it was trying to do it on his own, after Shaq left, after Phil left. His first time playing with mediocre teammates.
Kobe got his wish. He was the main option. After seeing that his 35ppg on 27FGA wasn't going to be good enough to get his team to the Finals, he cried for a trade.
Just shows that he can't handle the pressure playing a few years w/o having star power around him.
LeBron would have 8 rings if he said he would play for the Spurs only, his rookie year.

Those 06 & 07 teams win 10 games without Kobe..
Kobe has won multiple rings with multiple different line ups.
Kobe has won all of his rings with only 1 all star.
Bran gets 2 all stas around him for 4 straight years and was barely able to replicate what an old broken down Kobe did with Pau freaking Gasol.
