The only reason he is in the NBA is due to the fact the Kings have an Indian owner. I believe he'll be completely ineffective but I would love to be proven wrong.

This is my concern as well. The talk around his signing was all about how it was his dream to represent India in the NBA and inspire Indian kids, and the owner wanted to do the same and open the Indian market.

Yep, At least he's shown that he has a great work ethic, he seems to have lost a ton of weight. In today's NBA, mobility for big men is so important. Both speed and conditioning may be problem. We'll see.
