The Weeknd also changed lyrics and put his own flavor on the song. He intentionally tried to not make D.D. a perfect copy of Dirty Diana. And again, Michael is a better singer than Abel. I just prefer Abel's voice for most songs.

And i don't care about Bruno Mars. He is talented but makes bubblegum pop with no authenticity. I would never listen to a Bruno Mars album front to back.

Also, Abel makes better albums than Michael. MJ albums have filler.

The Weeknd cares about making flat out good and authentic music. Bruno just wants a hit any way he can get one. He doesn't care about putting together a masterpiece album, he is just a singles artist.

Bruno's last album is a masterpiece and I don't say that lightly.

Not only was it a commercial success it was highly praised by experts and fellow artists.

He fused different genres seamlessly experimenting with different styles and genres all while still making it accessible for the masses.

Meanwhile all Weeknd did was filter some sweeping pads, amped up the reverb and used low frequency filters.

I mean the weekend's engineers and producers.

Bruno played almost every instrument himself.

The fckin' Weekend. First of all, his name sounds like a name for a group or band.

Dude has a decent voice, but no strength or soul like MJ. Cookie cutter sounds like most current r&b and pop guys. He also has 2 left feet. His music is too hip-hop and explicit to fully cross over. Ed Sherran is more MJ than The Weekend.
