Default Predicting the Decline of the Comic Book Movie

    http://comicsalliance.com/supermovie...e-infographic/

This is the slate of upcoming comic book movies. Seriously, take a look at that. My money is on 2016 being the year when disaster begins to strike this genre. There is no fvcking way audiences are going to make seven comic book movies all hits.

I have a strong feeling that Fantastic Four and Sinister Six are going to underperform.

I had a strong feeling Gaurdians would flop.

but seriously, you're probably right and that's a lot of comic book movies

I feel like Ben Affleck cold single-handedly ruin comic book movies for all of us

I'll be a fan rest of my life though...Guardians was amazing imo, can't wait for part 2

Love all things X-Men as well, don't think I'll grow tired of those

Disagree about X-Men. That universe has been going on for years now, and there have been enough good movies in it that I don't see how Marvel can improve on it. Plus it's going to be near-impossible to find a better Wolverine.

After Guardians, there's nothing that I want more than a Marvel Fantastic Four movie. Sadly, it doesn't look like Fox plans to ever sell the rights, even if the new one tanks.

Let's be real, Wolverine can be improved upon. For one, dude is way too tall. And by for one, I mean that's my only real gripe.

Hugh Jackman claims that Wolverine 3 will be his last Wolverine

although I swear I have heard him say that before...

he just needs to come to grips with the fact that he is type cast as Wolverine...it's too late, it's who he is

They will keep making them as long as they keep making $$$.

People love their summertime comic book movies.

I grew tired of this genre a long time ago.

Well, 2 shitty F4 movies and 3 very underwhelming Spider-man movies will do that.

Saying comic book movies will decline is like saying action movies will decline.
