But who my favorite players are doesnt matter that way (being biased) as i prefer to be fair & objective in my assessments. Bird or Magic were nowhere close in Lebron's or Jordan's situation to even for a second weigh their options (struggling with scrub supporting casts for many of their first years).

Lmao, gtfoh... 2nd worst record in the league when he got there. Same cast, he led them to the best record and the ECF in his first year. With Parish the next year, Cowens gone, led them to the Finals and the championship.

Parish was 27 when he joined the Celtics and never viewed as all that with Golden State. McHale only started his prime in 1984 and was never expected to be what he was, amazing at his best I'll tell you but didn't last long due to injury.

Even worse than Lebron's 2011 Finals? How about mentioning Lebron's first Finals? Bird was a sophomore not yet at his best, Lebron was like in his 8th year and in his prime in 2011. How about Larry outplaying the MVP Julius Erving also in 1981, in the "true" Finals, the ECF, leading them coming down from a 3-1 deficit? Oh and he's the only player to average 15+/15+/7+ in a final series. Had a great closing game6, clutch af (and to me he deserved FMVP, especially since Magic got it the year before). Was champ, leading them as best player, that alone qualifies as a better Finals than Lebron's 2011 (who had a better cast around). Wade was easily playing at a higher level than Maxwell (by "himself" also, because Bird was drawing most attention and getting Cornbread easy buckets) and Bosh was around him, what's James' excuse for losing?

Who the **** got his cast delivered on a silverplate? You can talk about Magic, but even more so, talk about Lebron since he joined the Heat. Lebron joined two, already established superstars, unlike Bird.

Are you seriously going to sit there and tell me the Celtics weren't great?

Bird's best team probably sits in most peoples top 5 in terms of talent, and level of play right after Wilt's 76er's team and Magic's Lakers which were stacked from top to bottom.

How was their team formed though? Did Bird had to change teams to join up with them? Did those HOF's decided to sign together 1 summer in their prime to stack up against the rest of the competition?
