16 Time NBA Champions!
David Stern Knows Where 'The Bodies Are Buried'
[quote]
During All-Star Weekend last month, NBPA executive director Billy Hunter and commissioner David Stern addressed the players as they do every year.
But this time Hunter painted a more negative picture, explaining how he couldn't tell the players that everything is currently well in the NBA. He also referenced how Oscar Robertson and Jerry West staged a protest at the 1964 All-Star Game. Hunter insisted the players had an obligation to participate in the game, but his speech made it clear that he wouldn't back down to Stern.
When Hunter was finished and handed the microphone to Stern, the commissioner began to list his resume and his anger was visible.
Stern then announced he knows where "the bodies are buried" in the NBA, according to witnesses.

I means: "quiet up boy, obey your white masta, or secrets are going to be told."
Seriously, this posturing by Stern is ugly. Though, as a smarmy lawyer, he is simply in his natural realm.

Can You?
Re: David Stern Knows Where 'The Bodies Are Buried'
Hunter, in the same article, told Stern that the players are like rats.

Re: David Stern Knows Where 'The Bodies Are Buried'
It means David Stern wiretaps all their sh*t and knows which players are f*cking around with which other players' wives and sh*t like that. He's basically telling the players to keep their mouths shut and just play ball. He don't want no uppity nikkas. What can you expect from someone named Stern? The guy is a snake and a cancer.

Don't make this a Black/White thing. Stern is far from being White. His kind hold Whites and Blacks in equally low a view. We're all just animals to Stern and his cronies, to be used and discarded once our usefulness is up. The guy's heart is darker than the depths of Gloria James' v@g1na.

It means that stern supposedly has dirt on players or parties associated with the players union and intends to use them to his advantage come new-CBA bargaining time.

You are honestly my new favorite poster....though likely to be banned for such a statement of truth.

Game. Set. Match.
Re: David Stern Knows Where 'The Bodies Are Buried'
Stern has done a good job, but it's time to go. He's been in a position of power for too long, and it's obviously gone to his head.

Re: David Stern Knows Where 'The Bodies Are Buried'
He knows who the criminals (serial killers) are. And he knows the secrets of the NBA players.
There probably are serial killers in the NBA.

I can't deny that there is something intriguing about Stern and his smugness. am I crazy for thinking he has a good sense of the overall picture, or is he really just the owners' puppet?
I agree that he sees everyone beneath him as a pawn, but isn't that his job to some extent?
