Drose won the MVP recently. Paul George is likely to win this season. In a historical context these two guys are nothing special. Thank goodness for the 2014 draft. The NBA desperately needs an infusion of talent.

You're right. We need to go back to the days of Steve Nash winning back to back titles and Kobe/Shaq having one a piece. That's when the award meant something.

In terms of elite players it's extremely weak. Niqqas actually consider Tony Parker as a top 5 player. He might not even be top 15 in 1990.

How awful an era where the best PG of his generation is considered the third best player. So awful. Just terrible.
