Top 10 best seasons for a player without winning a ring

I would like to hear what you guys think are the best seasons ever from a player that did not end in a ring.

Let's limit this to one year per player...otherwise we will basically just end up listing every MJ/Shaq/Lebron year that they didn't win the championship.



As a Lebron fan, I'd nominate 2009 or 2015 for him.

Others I can think of off the top of my head: Durant 2014, Wade 2009, Kobe 2006, Shaq 2004, KG 2003

A lot of peaks aren't championship years for many guys and even the best all time greats have a year considered top 3 ish for their careers that's not a championship year.

My top 10 is something like 90 MJ, 09 Lebron, 77 Kareem, some year for Wilt but not sure, 93 Hakeem, 16 Curry, 04 KG, 02 Duncan, 95 Shaq, 90 Magic or 87 Bird.

Plenty of other guys like Kobe, Drob, Barkley, Dirk, Wade, Tmac etc are up there.

Lebron 09 is the answer. People discredit it because Dwight dominated the Cavs centers and the Magic got stupid hot from 3. Lebron was dominate and the role players didnt even play that bad
