6 nba finals
guaranteed 5 titles. but could steal one more. maybe 2 more ... who knows. more chances = higher odds
FTFY.
They win 5 in a row. 6 is Kobe doesn't chuck them out of the Finals. Shaq would've ended up with 6 rings and 6 FMVP's. Kobe with 6 rings and 0 FMVP's.

Lol delusional
Kobe was the mvp vs teams like sanantonio and sacramento
The lakers play them in the finals instead of a crap east team they can roll over while shaq just hogs all the shots

Let's Talks Numbers
Re: how many NBA finals for Kobe if the Lakers were in the East since 1997
Damn....you know Kobe is good when people compare his shooting percentage to the MOST DOMINANT center of all time. I think haters are too stupid to realize that they're giving him credit. Lol.

If the Sac Kings were in the ECF since 1997, they'd prob have 3 finals appearances, the Blazers 2, Spurs...10?, Dallas 4, Suns 4, etc. (Obv not if they were all on the East, if only 1 of these teams were transplanted to the lesser conference.)
Actually, thinking more carefully, Spurs might have given Russell's Celtics a run for their money if the team was in the East.

The nut that changed the landscape of the NBA.

Clearly he would miss the playoffs every year.
No way Kobe would join the Mount Rushmore of 21st century EC greats...
All of these players are better than Kobe because they made it to the NBA finals without another All-star talent.
Kobe could only dream of such greatness.

We dont have those type of expectations of Kobe, ours is much more modest.
Just making it past the 1st round without another all-star talent is all we ask of him.

Let's ignore that Sheed Wallace, who replaced Perkins, made a clutch ass 3 and scored 11 points on way above average efficiency for that game.
Will Perkins replace that too?

True. Clearly Jason Kidd is better than Kobe beacuse of this.
You are so right. It has nothing to do with the disparity between east and west.
