Default Porzingis is actually what Thon Maker hope he would become

Anyone remember this guy from the endless mixtapes they were posting about him in the last 4-5 years?

Seven footer than can shoot the ball, play some D, etc.

I'm not sure if he's playing D1 college this season somewhere, but he must be thinking that Porzingis has set the bar quite high for this type of hybrid big men...

On another note, Porzingis doesn't seem to have more than an inch on Dirk. No way he's 7-3. Perhaps 7-2.

Not that it takes away anything from his game though.

    Yeah, absolutely not 7-3.

Rik Smits was 7-4 and this was how he looked vs 7-1 Shaq.

He is probably a legit 7-1.

Doesn't Thon Maker play like a guard? Cuz Porzingis doesn't play like that at all.

Its not hype he legitamately was the best player in his class

In this day in age every NBA would have a lot of hype if their middle school and HS careers were followed as closely as it is today

Every NBA players kills it at a high level

Thon is still going to be an nba player at the end of the day

No, he wasn't the best in his class. It's always been potential. I traveled to watch him play and left very disappointed
