Default Passing the torch - Mavs VS. Knicks Dirk VS. Porzingis

Damn this game will be entertaining as hell, the Knicks are one of the most fun team to watch this year thanks to Pornzingis and the Mavs are always fun with a Dirk/Carlisle offense.

I'm definitely looking forwards to this matchup... although I wouldn't call it "passing the torch". I have a lot of respect for Dirk; KP's got a long way to go to compare. Go Knicks!

i dont expect much from dirk. 37 1/2 year old man on a back2back on a road trip. dirk was guarded pretty hard against wizards and doubled in the post.

dirk should rest this game..... unfortunatelly i see an off night, like 5-16 for dirk

At this point let the legends have their final days before they rest their lives away.

Dirk passed the torch to Bargs and Bargs passed it to Porzingis. You missed a step.

Really excited for this. Hopefully there is at least one or two plays where they go at each other.

Would be great to see Dirk hit him with the one legged fade and then Kristaps come back with a put back dunk or driving dunk...etc.

Who knows what the future holds for Kristaps, but he's light years ahead of where Dirk was as a rookie

Porzingis is showing signs of hitting the rookie wall. I think he'll hit it before any other rookie simply due the combo of his size and activity level.

If Kristaps could get a small piece of one of those fade aways for the block..... it might bring the house down?!?!

Almost as un-blockable as the skyhook.

That would be an iconic moment for Kristaps that they'll play back for years if he becomes a franchise player

    Would be cool to see

Dirk had a very good game. 19 points on 5/8 shooting (Hello Kobe), getting to the FT line.

exactly, was a very good game for dirk. because he was doubled in the post, dirk found his open teamm8s pretty well.
but its a b2b on a road trip for a 37 1/2 year old. i dont expect much from him tonight. at best, he wont play at all
