Harden played no defense and got humiliated on youtube and social media and actually put in effort to be better.
He'd pass under the radar in earlier eras.

No offense to Bill Simmons but I don't need to confirm what I already knew from watching basketball in the 80's.
There is a reason why the Lakers set an NBA record in 1985 by shooting 54.5% fg. Lots of fastbreak baskets and so-so defense.
