28.2 ppg 13.0 rpg 3.5 apg 3.3 bpg on .540 fg .684 ft
I was going to calculate his stats since I recall the dude beasting in elimination games. Thanks for that, Hakeem was a monster in those situations.

A double-OT game. He played for 53 minutes. 49 points 25 rebounds 6 blocks 2 assists 2 steals 2 turnovers, 19-33 fg 11-13 ft... Still lost.
I watched his highlights a couple of years back, will try to get a hold of the full tape at some point.
He was a monster in that game. It might be his best one even in the loss.

Very good NBA starter

What is crazy is that scoring isn't even Lebron's best trait.
And that is why he has GOAT potential.

hes 28 years old.
he still has these bouts of passivity, and seems to doubt himself at times.
im pretty confident that lebron is who he is at this point. hes never gonna be an especially mentally strong player.
potential is for 20 year olds, not 28 year olds

MJ himself was not GOAT at age 28.
He had GOAT potential.

I used the basic definition of elimination game. If you lose, you're eliminated.

You need to include TS%, not FG%.
Also, the minutes for each player.

Lebron has better trajectory but I just don't see the GOAT on him. I can understand he can be mentally stronger or be more confident if they can get past the Spurs but his game is based on his physical attributes. I don't see those skills and footwork like Kobe possess. He does not even have the finesse and midrange game that you need when you get into a major injury or Father Time arrived.

Re: Elimination Game Stats (PPG, FG%) for Kobe, Wade, LeBron, and Duncan
LeBron's only problem is his passiveness at crucial times. MJ never let the foot off the pedal.
To LeBron's credit at least last night he went down gunning even if he missed, in past years he wouldn't even dare to shoot.
