Probably burned out in the regular season and thats why Mike played so badly in the Finals and got bodied by Payton and Kemp. Good thing he had Rodman and Pippen and Kukoc to save his legacy like always.

right right right they just start the season earlier so it looks like they clinch earlier by date, but not by number of actual games played, which would be the only non-fakkit way to address the stat.

Is that why 6'2 Payton locked MJ up and Kemp had a better GmScore in the Finals , or?

Also: 73-9, your screen name is invalid now

imagine thinking that 27 ppg on 54%TS = locked down.

    Against... Kawhi or 6'2 Payton?

Don't forget MJ won FMVP even though Shawn KEMP outplayed Jordan in the Finals.

    Shawn.
    Kemp.

Yeah that is true, what can you expect from a watered down era where playing as the Bulls you get 3 stars minimum (MJ, Pip, Grant) or (MJ, Pip, Rodman, Kukoc) while other teams are scrambling together to put Hornacek as a second option

    Shawn.
    Kemp.
Kemp was All NBA 2nd team that season and a monster in the playoffs from 95-98. He was going toe to toe with guys like Hakeem and Karl. He was easily a top 10 player and MJ was still the best player in the finals

Its not like he got outplayed by Tony Parker, Jason Terry or Andre Iguodala coming off the bench averaging 8/3/3 for the season

Jordan won a FMVP when his opponent was better. Who else has had that happened to?

Imagine having a screen name 72-10 when another team already was 73-9
