Only about 6% of players in the league are an all-star in any given year, so it's still a pretty notable honor. However, a lot of guys are one or two year wonders, and that's why topics like this are silly. There have been players with mediocre careers who've made an all-star team, and players with great careers who were never selected.

Yep. the 2001 and 2002 Western Conference Finals were more entertaining than the Finals. the Kings were a great team that got robbed by the refs. Kidd was fantastic though. And Kobe was really bad.
