Look no further than the 04 Olympics to give you an idea how shitty the top talent was, rookie Melo/Lebron made the damn roster

The rise of Lebron + Wade saved the league

bhaahahahahah

kobe, shaq, iverson, tmac, vince carter, jayson kidd, jason williams, bibby, chauncey billups, duncan, ray allen, horry, kevin garnett, paul pierce, nash, dirk... this list keeps going

I didn't even name, wade, melo, lebron etc.

that 04 olympics team was deplete of the actual real talent the nba had.. plus it had the most overrated sorry ass coach in history guiding it

todays nba is just euro league

That would make the '90's today's WNBA.

The difference is the increase freedom of roleplayers being able to shoot 3's out of the scheme.

If you watch basketball from 2000-2009, we had run and gun teams but there were designated shooters and penetrators. The game back then was still about getting to the basket and the midrange game.

Today's game, you have great defense posessions spoiled by a ridiculous bank shot 3. Everyone has someone that can just shoot the ball even if it's erratic. How do you defend some players that any moment can shoot and make 6-7 3's.

I'd say it's more shooters and if that means more skilled, then yes, the league has improved offensively.

I'd still say the absolute best NBA players can still get to the paint and hit mid range shots while having a respectable 3 ball.

OK. Honest question: Did you make up those names yourself? Cuz that's pretty hilarious.
