So Jay only owned one fifteenth of one percent? I'm too lazy and probably not smart enough to do the math, but what is one fifteenth of one percent of $530 million? Doesn't seem like much.

He's actually ripping people who read the news, it's just a crappy lyric that doesn't say it well.

He's being a douche, he's going to an agency that has deep Knick ties in it's roster (Woodson, Melo, JR, Amare) among others. He's not going to the Net games anymore either. And he's becoming an agent, where you can't have close team ties. But he wants people not to doubt his Net ties. And he got bashed for his trip to Cuba because he did it in rich person douche style, where you forego the easy to get permit because you don't have to because you are a rich douche.

And he only owned $350k of the team. I remember when the question came up on what he owned and the leaked amounts were much higher than that. I don't recall him saying it's $350k.

    This thread is a fail.

    He isn't ripping the Nets.

That line was to the NY Times dude that made the claim of how much his shares were worth.

Dont even see why this is worthy mention, the 1 mil he put in has more than made up for it.

He paid a small amount to expand globally on the sports scene.

And didn't he have his panties all in a bunch over "haters" talking about his minute share in the team, as if he was a major player?

    $353,333

    Which, in comparison, is

    1,646%

of Joe Johnson's salary for 2013.

Because he sat front row and let everyone think he was an owner with say and essentially he owned a pct that was literally nothing.

Ok and? Whether or not they "used" him he "used" them just as much to give himself a higher profile in the sports and business worlds. Not to mention he still owns part of the arena.

Yes, i recall saying he had no say in the direction of the team and being called an idiot because his 1-1.5% was still a lot of money, etc. It's not 1 1/5%. And when it was being speculated he ONLY had 1% i don't recall him saying it's nowhere near 1%.

If you told me NIKO YOUR $200k a year salary is impressive and i nod and you find out i only made $35k a year you'd give me shit. This is the same.
