Default Knicks running the Triangle in summer league

    Saw this video posted elsewhere:

Their summer league players are a good ways away in terms of execution. The video maker speculated that Melo will be spending a good deal of time as the weak-side forward.

I kinda wonder if this is more for the coaches. Guys play the triangle for 2 years to get it down. Summer league people are often out of the league in weeks.

Almost feels like doing some of them dirty having them play the triangle. Granted...if one or two show they can grasp it quickly they may have a shot to make the team.

Great system, good personnel to run that system. A top 5-10 player in the nba. Amare is looking better. Hardaway jr should keep improving.

Hardaway will play big minutes, Tyler will make the team, Larkin will make the team.

KD would be so goddamn dominant from the Triangle... Give him Phil and a decent supporting cast and he's no doubt ending his career with 5-6 rings like Kobe/Jordan ended up with...

Just watching the Knicks already run an offense 10x more advanced than anything we've ever seen from Brooks in OKC has me pretty salty, I'm not going to lie.

How am i not surprised. Is fish there? Could be an experiment to get him ready. Triangle does no good for a player trying to make a team.

Melo on the weak side will open him up for some easy offense since its a 2 man game on that side.

Yeah, they showed Fish on the bench.

Should be interesting to see how it goes down. They have a lot of young players on this team so the learning curve might be steep, but if it pans out you can put some of that athleticism to use, since there's tons of cutting to the basket and finishing.
