Default If Duncan wins a 6th ring....

....will he rank ahead of Bird and Magic all-time?

#5 behind only MJ, Russell, Wilt, and Kareem?

No, unless we have reason to believe it wont be another team effort.

Playing team ball diminish a player's legacy?

At age 39, if Duncan can still play at a decent level as a rotational key piece, it speaks alot about the player doesn't it?

His top end performance just wouldn't quite be enough for me personally, but he's already in that elite group for which I'm open to really any order of preference.

Well, it would be a huge longevity boost, but do nothing for peak/prime play.

Depends entirely and only on his level of play.

If he wins 6 then he's top 4 GOAT along with MJ, Russell and Magic.

Magic isn't better than Kareem. I didn't watch either guy live, but I think in his prime Bird was better as well.

It would be incredibly hard to put him in one place, there would be legitimate arguments to have him in the 7-8 range and to have him in 4-5 range.

Really depends on his level of play and the level of competition

Kareem is in the lower tier of the top 10.

Bird and Magic are very close, interchangeable almost.

    I agree.

You need to have FMVP in order for that ring to actually count.

The term role player is getting really overused.

15/10/3/2 in 29 minutes makes you a role player? I guess Dwight Howard is close to being a role player since he only scored a couple more points and grabbed a couple more boards. Maybe D. Rob was too when they won in 99.
